This camera works much better than my MacBook Pro’s integrated camera, even with dim light. The resolution is high, and it makes my complexion look pretty good in video calls. Now I am super confident in virtual meetings. :-) I also love the cute design, the privacy protection camera cover, and the drawstring bag for storage and traveling. Haven't tried the speaker or microphone, though. Overall, with the reasonable price, I am very happy with this purchase.

This is an interesting review for me to write. This webcam is perfectly in the middle when it comes to quality, price, and features. There are things that I absolutely love about it, but also some things that I do not. When you first get this webcam, the first thing you will notice is the cheeky design on the front of it. Supcam tried really hard to make this thing feel alive and personal with the face like design, and while some may think it is cool, I do not. I think the design is a little cheesy and makes the webcam feel more generic and of lesser quality from those first impressions. Luckily, the webcam does have many redeeming factors. The first, is the versatility with connecting it. It comes with an adapter that turns the USB-C connector into a Type-A connector, which allows you to connect this with almost any laptop or desktop on the market. A+ on that. The next good thing was actually surprising to me: speakers. Yes, the webcam has built-in speakers. Somehow I had missed that when I first read the listing before trying out this product. They aren't the greatest speakers, but they're there and they work which is a feature that you don't get on that many webcams. It first took me by surprise when I set it up for the first time and my Windows settings automatically switched my audio settings from my headphones to the webcam and I began hearing audio coming from somewhere behind my monitor and it took me a few minutes to realize it was the webcam itself. So, if you're interested in speakers on your webcam, this one has it. Now, we are getting into the most important part: the picture quality. This is where I have some praise and also some complaints. With proper lighting, this thing looks REALLY good. Like beyond what the popular C920 webcam from Logitech can do. The colors pop, and everything looks great. However, once your lights dim down or if you have a background light that changes hue or colors, the webcam will begin adjusting every single second because it can't understand what is happening in the background. This causes very blown out or undersaturated video quality shifts faster than you can keep up. So, when this issue happens, the only way to make it look good again is to spend a few minutes with the manual webcam controls in OBS or other compatible software in order to keep it from auto adjusting so terribly. The next issue I have is with the field of view. With this webcam, the field of view is VERY LARGE. This isn't always a bad thing, BUT you have to have the webcam a lot closer to your face than with other webcams for it to still look good. Otherwise, you look super zoomed out/far away by comparison as it captures almost the entirety of your bedroom/office in a single frame. I know you can manually adjust these settings or crop in, but I think the field of view is just way larger than most would need. Like, the field of view is so large that it would be a perfect conference room webcam. The final issue, of course, is the microphone. The microphone does not sound great at all, but most webcam mics aren't good anyway. If you do get this webcam, just make sure you already have a dedicated microphone. Overall, for the price, this is an excellent webcam. There are not many webcams you would find that are as good at this range and with all these features, but there are still some things that I would've liked to see. However, for those that are just starting out making video content, or if you just need something for online schooling, work meetings, etc then this webcam will be just fine. Thanks for reading.

The overall quality is generally nice. The design is very compact and modern. Its white/grey color scheme matched my room perfectly. The webcam was easy to use, basically plug-and-play. It's easy to tell when the webcam is active thanks to the front-facing indicator light. The built-in speakers sound clear and there is no stuttering or delay with the sound that your computer is playing. The mic is surprisingly good as well, it picks up sound easily and I don’t have to be super close to the mic in order for it to hear me. The camera is not the greatest quality but it is better than most built-in cameras in standard computers. There is also a very slight lag in the video, it's barely noticeable, but it is there. I have seen better webcams but for the price, it’s pretty good. I don't see a need to switch to something else for my general use.

The media could not be loaded. The SUPCAM was very easy to set up, and also simple to get going. The picture it provides is very good and the lens settings that are built-in, allow it to get a great picture, even when the natural lighting around isn't conducive for a balanced video image. The quality is good in my short video, but the audio leaves a bit to be desired. The integrated speaker is very loud, but it's meant for mid-tones to provide clear speaking voices for conversations. It's not something you want to listen to music on. Overall, I'd recommend this camera due to its ease of usage, and the good picture quality. I'd recommend it for use at home or school.

It's overall a good picture quality for the $35 price (50% off). If it's at full price, I would probably gotten the Anker C200 as it has software support. Tested 4 webcams: 1. Supcam Pro: works well in low light Con: field of view is too very wide and can't adjust. 2. Macbook pro 16" Pro: it's built-in Con: it's horrible for a $3000 laptop 3. AverMedia 313 Pros: decent webcam for the price and works better than built-in webcam cons: no contrast, my hair in the photo was the same shade of black 4. Old iPhone 7 as webcam (via Camo app) Pros: best picture quality Cons: need an extra mount to monitor

This SUPCAM Webcam with Microphone and Speaker looks very nice, but, I have been having trouble trying to get it installed properly so I can use it. Granted, I am trying to hook it up to an older computer which is attached to my television. Since it does not have a built in webcam I thought this one might be good, but, so far I have been unsuccessful in getting it hooked up.
