Works better than my work issued camera. High definition and very clear.

I have been working from home since last year. Video meetings are hard to maintain good video quality given the laptop camera is just 0.9 MP results in bad video, I was looking for ans HD quality camera to add to my home office. This is a great addition to my work desk, this gives a super clean video and had good auto focus(note, you may have to adjust it first time you set up your camera). I use it with zoom which further improves my image quality in the meetings. Note: -This is not wireless, so make sure to have USB port free on your laptop to use it -This is plug and play, no drivers needed to be downloaded -Has integrated bright ring light (very useful, touch on-off) -Comes with small (6 inch) tripod stand. does not have a clip to attach to monitor top but it holds well on the top of the monitor coz Z shape base Overall great experience so far. I haven't had chance to test noise canceling mic feature yet, I may update about it later

As of posting this review I’ve been using this for about a week now and it’s been great! It does stream and record in 1080p 60fps without having a 3.0 usb so don’t worry about that. I’ve been using it for streaming on Twitch and it’s been wonderful! The light that’s on it is great as well, I almost wouldn’t need another light if I wasn’t using a green screen. If you wanna check the quality out I’m gonna link my Twitch account. Overall this camera is a great grab for the price and quality you get with it. Twitch.tv/zar_unleashed

At this price point I expected a compromise, but camera technology hasn't advanced at the rate of other components. This camera does everything possible as well as can be expected. I tried many much higher priced computer cameras but didn't find an advantage. The exception is the cameras that had adjustment software for exposure and lens.

Works really well

Exceeded my expectations for low light and 60FPS performance. Couldn't be easier to use and was a great value on Prime Day.

There's a real lack of useful reviews here so I hope to change that: PROS - Very high quality camera with a perfect field of view that's not too wide or narrow. A lot of cameras advertise they are 4K; this one feels like 4K whereas those other Amazon cameras feel like 1080p (or just have terrible autofocus.) - Extremely impressive autofocus. It is so fast I can't even tell that it had to autofocus, and is the fastest I've tried out of other brands like Logitech 920S and the Depstech 4K 8MP Sony Sensor Autofocus Webcam. - Works well with Mac - all you have to do is plug it in with no bloatware to download. Not sure for Windows but I can't see why it wouldn't work for Windows. - The white ring light option is nice but I don't have a use for it. You can have it off, low (not headache inducing), med (headache inducing), and high (like staring at the sun). It does make a difference but again I prefer it off. CONS - My biggest and only major complaint is that the camera makes me look a bit washed out and pale regardless of the ring light's state. Most of the time I'm by a window with natural light, supplied with a bright, indirect light from a floor lamp right next to my desk. It is still washed out without natural light though. The slightly low contrast is enough to annoy me but not bad enough for me to immediately return as I'm still on the fence about this one major drawback. Also I don't wear makeup, but if I did, it may not be as noticeable. I have not tried in lower light conditions so if your office is less well lit, maybe this camera is perfect for you. - Microphone is rather muffly, hard for others to hear on the other end, and has some kind of persistent static sound. Default MacBook pro mic is better. I prefer to use my Airpods Pro though. - [minor] Indicator light is very faint. It's on the touch button for the ring light and is more of a faint glow than a dedicated indicator light showing it's in use. You have to look pretty closely to know it's on. Glad there is one though. - [minor] No privacy cover. SUMMARY Overall I'd rate this a solid 4/5. It's hard to find a mid-range, high quality autofocus webcam on the market that is the perfect 75 degree field of view, with all the bells and whistles that come with more expensive cameras like a clearer indicator light and a privacy cover. Do I want to return this and go through more hassle to find the perfect value webcam? TBD. This is not bad at all and I would still recommend giving this a try, especially if you are using it in a darker environment.
